After years of navigating tattoo education on her own, encountering unsafe situations along the way, and sorting through her own life’s chaos in the most untraditional way, she realized something had to change.

The tattoo industry needed a space where artists like you—passionate creatives, misfits, and dreamers—could feel seen, safe, and supported while growing on their own terms.

As Roma gathered insights from the tattoo artists in her network, she discovered a common thread: feelings of instability, insecurity, and lack of support were everywhere. But through years of experience in tattooing, business, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and mindset coaching, she had something unique to offer—a holistic approach to tattoo education and career-building.

She built a community of like-minded artists—people who wanted to elevate the status quo, challenge industry-imposed limitations, and break down gatekeeping. And from that, Tatu Amor was born—a global movement dedicated to giving artists something better.

Behind Tatu Amor

I’m Roma Jade—tattoo artist, studio owner, and holistic tattoo education coach. With nearly 15 years in tattooing and over a decade running studios, traveling for guest spots, and building a global network, I’ve learned from some of the best around the world.

A traditional apprenticeship didn’t work for me—it put me in unsafe situations, so I had to carve my own path. Instead of learning from one mentor, I studied a wide range of artists, techniques, and business models, gaining a diversity of knowledge that shapes everything I teach today.

The real shift happened when I realized mindset management was the key to success.

When I started integrating nervous system regulation and breathwork into tattooing, everything changed—my work improved, my confidence grew, and my students and community felt the impact.

Tattooing became more than a trade; it became a holistic experience.

In 2020, I opened Tatu Amor—and by 2021, I launched Tattoo Fundamentals to give artists access to structured, trustworthy education while mastering the skills to be responsible, empowered, and successful—all in one place.
